Recycled Coarse Aggregate from Concrete Waste Using DMDA for Concrete

Abstract This study investigates the effect of replacement recycled concrete as coarse aggregates using Densified Mixture Design Algorithm Method (DMDA) in unconfined behavior. DMDA was applied to produce with least void. Compressive strength, flexural strength and split tensile tests were conducted on 7-, 14-, 28- 56-day old specimens. test results showed that specimens 20, 30, 40% RCA replacements at 56 days are relatively lower compared control 10% The compressive strengths decreased amount increased. However, promising performance an average 3275 psi 11.2% difference 0% replacement. A significant increase between for all observed accounted due pozzolanic activity type C fly ash used filler. For splitting best a 9.87% roughly 1% greater terms its respectively.
